Lughnasadh - Mugwort & the Cave of Dreams

  • Roslin glen forest Exact location and direction will be provided upon booking Roslin, Scotland (map)

A co-creative mythic journey through immersive storytelling, nature connection and ritual

Come celebrate Lughnasadh & the harvest season with OATH (Katie & Francesco) and renowned storyteller Douglas McKay, for a day in the magical and enchanting Roslyn glen forest, journeying through abundant nature and honouring this time of harvest and celebration.

Mugwort & the Cave of Dreams

Mugwort is strongly associated with dreams & magic. During our time together, we will connect, honour and find out more about this locally abundant magical plant which is ready for harvest at this time of the year.

We will be exploring the mythic realm through experiential story, nature connection activities (nature art, movement, herbal medicine) exploration of our senses, connecting to the elements and ritual in a candlelit cave in Roslin Glen.

Expect an adventurous afternoon with time to reflect upon your journey, direction & story. Connect and give voice to your aspirations through the lense of the mythic realm. Come be part of a magical story, let a new narrative for your life emerge and voice your hopes into life.

The whole experience will enable you to slow down, taking time to explore some treasures hidden in the Roslyn forest, including river crossings and ancient caves.

Note: There will be some walking off the path and up some uneven ground. If you have any physical disabilities please do let us know to discuss possibilities.

As to celebrate this harvest festival time of the year, we will also feast together with seasonal food around the fire, make magic herbal potions from local freshly picked (by you) herbs and explore singing in nature.
